I am off to Houston in the morning. Here is what I have done with Kathi's so far. I will do a few finishing touches for my round when I return next week. I hope you like what I have done so far Kathi.
Have a great time in Houston! If you happen to get to Ami Simms's booths, I *believe* at least two (possibly three) of my little quilts will be offered for sale there at a flat price.
And if Kathi doesn't like what you've done on her block, I'll let her keep mine and exchange it for hers! Grin!
Oh I am so glad that everyone likes what I did. Kathi if I am correct the next peson is gonna add things to what I did................right. That is one reason I kept each seam so simple.......I coulda kept going and added all sorts of things......did I ever mention I love crazy quilting. I am planning more stuff on the very long green seam I embelished that goes around the outside of the fan............hopefully will find some stuff in Houston for that one :)
kathi, How did you get your blades on the fan to lie flat like that? Did you hand sew it? Or perhaps paper piece it? I am curious because I would like to make some fan blocks. Rebecca

Rebecca,
I turned it under and pressed it and then stitched it on with a machine blanket stitch with invisible thread.
