Crazy quilting round robin
Ami,Have a great time in Houston! If you happen to get to Ami Simms's booths, I *believe* at least two (possibly three) of my little quilts will be offered for sale there at a flat price. And if Kathi doesn't like what you've done on her block, I'll let her keep mine and exchange it for hers! Grin!Cris
Ami, it looks gorgeous!!!!! I love it so much already! Have fun in Houston.
Oh I am so glad that everyone likes what I did. Kathi if I am correct the next peson is gonna add things to what I did................right. That is one reason I kept each seam so simple.......I coulda kept going and added all sorts of things......did I ever mention I love crazy quilting. I am planning more stuff on the very long green seam I embelished that goes around the outside of the fan............hopefully will find some stuff in Houston for that one :)
You are correct Ami, the next person will add to your seam treatments. It is looking amazing!
kathi,How did you get your blades on the fan to lie flat like that? Did you hand sew it? Or perhaps paper piece it? I am curious because I would like to make some fan blocks. Rebecca
Rebecca,I turned it under and pressed it and then stitched it on with a machine blanket stitch with invisible thread.
