Progress on Cris's block

Here is a butterfly I just finished on Cris's block.  Next I a going to add a doggy, since she is into canine rescue, and them some other things.  I used a motif from a new book I just got called Motifs for Crazy Quilting.  It has some great stuff in it.

Oh, Rebecca! I'm speechless (well, almost). That book is on my wish list. The thought that you'd want to add a dog to the block brings tears to my eyes. THANK YOU!

Cris, I am so glad you like it! I am having a little trouble with the doggy, but I will prevail! LOL
The book is great! It has a ton of motifs in it, I love it. I got it on Amazon for around $20.

I am so glad you all like it! This was my first time doing a freehand motif. I think next time I will try getting the stitches closer together, in the rows and maybe smaller.

Have any of you taken Sharon Boggons online Crazy QUilting class, Encrusted Crazy Quilting? I think I may take it as a birthday present to myself! LOL Let me know what you all thought of the class if you took it!
Have a good week!
